In 2020, Josh Keller graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Since then, he has become a seasoned professional in fire protection engineering. His focus on fire alarm and special hazard suppression system designs underscores his commitment to safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness for clients and end users.
Eager to advance his career, Josh has successfully passed the Electrical and Computer FE Exam and is on the path to becoming a licensed Fire Protection Engineer by the summer of 2025. His pursuit of professional development is evident through his attainment of a NICET Level 2 certification in Fire Alarm Systems, with ongoing efforts towards additional NICET certifications in special hazards.
Josh's extensive knowledge of industry standards, including NFPA 70, 72, and 101, the IBC/IFC, and UFC, combined with his strong technical background in electrical engineering, positions him as a valuable asset to the PBFPE team. His areas of expertise include fire protection system design, code consulting, hazard analysis and smoke control system design and commissioning.
