Aric Aumond, P.E. Promoted to Principal Fire Protection Engineer/Vice President

Raleigh, NC (July 1, 2021)

Performance Based Fire Protection Engineering, PLLC is excited to announce that Aric Aumond, P.E. has been promoted to Principal Fire Protection Engineer and Vice President of Operations. Aric started his career with PBFPE on May 1, 2019, and since then has been a significant contributor to providing technical excellence on projects, developing new clients, and creating workflows and processes that assist the firm on a daily basis.  He will continue with his previous duties but through this new position will also oversee day-to-day operations of the firm, directly manage business development efforts, assist in planning, directing, and coordination of firm activities, and work with other leadership to establish, implement, and maintain the strategic direction of the company.

About Aric Aumond, P.E/Vice President

Now a Principal Fire Protection Engineer and Vice President at PBFPE, Aric has experience which encompasses many aspects of fire protection engineering, with an emphasis on performance-based design and alternative means & methods, hazard analysis, and fire protection systems design. Through his career he developed into a strong operations professional with a foundation derived from a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of South Florida, and a Masters of Science degree in Fire Protection Engineering from University of Maryland. Not only is he a licensed Fire Protection Engineer (P.E.) in multiple states, he Also holds a NICET II certification in Water Based Systems Layout, Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS), and shares affiliation with the National Fire Protection Association and the Society of Fire Protection Engineers.
