Performance Based Fire Protection Engineering recently promoted Kyle Carpenter to full-time Fire Protection Associate.

Kure Beach, NC (April 1, 2023) – Performance Based Fire Protection Engineering, PLLC is excited to announce that Kyle Carpenter has been promoted to full-time Fire Protection Associate. Carpenter’s main role will be focused on fire protection system design, code consulting, hazard analysis and smoke control analyses.

Carpenter started his career with PBFPE in October 2022 and quickly fit within the firm’s work ethic, values and vision.

David Stacy, Principal and Founder of PBFPE, said, “Kyle’s enthusiasm for fire protection engineering is contagious, and we couldn’t be happier to have him on our team full-time. From day one, Kyle has proved to be a valuable team member, and we can’t wait to see him continue to grow and succeed with PBFPE.”

Carpenter is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he obtained a B.S. in Engineering Technology with a major in Fire and Safety Engineering. At UNCC, he was on the Dean’s list for all four years.

Like others at PBFPE, Kyle maintains a passion for emergency services, where he previously served as Assistant Head Lifeguard for the Kure Beach Fire Department and plans to continue assisting in that role during summer seasons.
